HANJ 4th year anniversary special lecture “The rise of entrepreneurship in the Netherlands”
So why don't we celebrate the 4th year anniversary together!
We are happy to announce that we will have a special lecture by Professor Kiyoshi Hori from J.F. Oberlin University. The theme is ”The rise of entrepreneurship in the Netherlands” which is the professor’s field of study. While you might have heard of “Revolution in the way of working” or “Diversity in the way of working” in Japan, there is no doubt that Holland is ahead of Japan in this field. He will make the lecture as casual, unique as possible, including his personal experiences, so everyone is very much welcome!!
Dutch Embassy kindly agreed to sponsor this event, so it is free! The event includes drinks, foods and a fun lottery!
The number of seats is limited to 50; first come first serve basis.

Profile Prof. Kiyoshi Hori
Dean, College of Arts and Sciences at J.F.Oberlin University Prof. of Industrial Organization & Small Business Studies
He graduated from Keio University (B.A., 1985 and M.A., 1987). While studying at Keio University as a Ph.D. student, he participated in a program of the International Master of Science Student Exchange Committee (IMSEC,) Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands as the first Japanese exchange student. Upon the completion of the program, he was appointed an assistant professor of the Junior College, Tokiwa University (1990). He joined the Faculty of Economics, J. F. Oberlin University in 1994 and currently serves as the Dean of College of Arts and Sciences (April 2018 - ). In the meantime he was invited as a visiting scholar at the Rotterdam Institute for Modern Asian Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam (2000) and at the Rotterdam Business School in Hogeschool Rotterdam (Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences) (2015) His specialty is "industrial organization" and "basic microeconomics." In the academic society, he is a director at Japan Economic Policy Association, and a vice president and director at Japan Association for Small Business Studies.
